ProWritingAid is an excellent compliment to Grammarly. It’s more into word choice and smoothing out the rough areas that Grammarly leaves behind. I typically run Grammarly then ProWritingAid on my manuscripts
Grammarly is an excellent program for taking rough manuscripts and tightening them up. It’s fairly picky, so the constant choices presented will irritate some writers.
